Pat Shurmur: Giants holding Odell Beckham back in OTAs
New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is at OTAs, and the team is having to keep him from doing more than he actually should.
Beckham is coming off an injury-hit 2017 campaign that ended with ankle surgery, so the Giants are taking it slow regarding his physical activity. In fact, coach Pat Shurmur said the team is having to keep stop him from overdoing it in these optional workouts.

All the signs on Beckham are good so far. The Giants are happy to see him at workouts, and he’s clearly hungry to get going, even if he’s not quite physically ready to go all out yet. The Giants will be hoping this tranquility lasts.
