Report: Patrick Mahomes robbed at gunpoint in Texas
Kansas City Chiefs rookie quarterback was reportedly the victim of an armed robbery in Texas late last week.
According to Whitney Mayfield of KLTV, Mahomes and three other people were robbed by a white male claiming to be armed in Smith County, Texas on Friday. The suspect’s vehicle pulled into their driveway as they were getting out of the car, and he gestured as if he had a gun in his waistband as he demanded their property.
Mahomes and his fellow victims immediately notified police, and two suspects — 34-year-old Michael Blake Pinkerton and 58-year-old Billy Ray Johnson — were apprehended and taken into custody. No one was hurt, and the stolen property was recovered.
#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is ok physically & emotionally — as much as one can be. Police & NFL security were called. Wallet was returned.
