Report: Patriots hosted Christine Michael for visit
The New England Patriots have already signed unrestricted free agent Mike Gillislee and extended Super Bowl hero James White this offseason, but they may not be done adding running back depth.
ESPN’s Field Yates reports that the Patriots hosted veteran running back Christine Michael for a visit on Tuesday.

Michael, 26, rushed for 583 yards and seven touchdowns in 2016 playing for the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers. He was drafted by Seattle in the second round back in 2012, but he has never been able to consistently fulfill his potential.
The Patriots are likely just familiarizing themselves with Michael, as they don’t really have a need for another running back at the moment. Should someone get injured during training camp, Michael could become an option.
