Perry Fewell: Giants Will Get After Aaron Rodgers’ Ass

The Giants are coming off a blowout loss to the Saints on Monday night, and things don’t get any easier in their next game. They’re set to face the undefeated Packers on Sunday, and defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is confident his team will fare well.

According to Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger, Fewell told the media Thursday that the Giants are going to “get after (Rodgers’) ass.” Fewell also reportedly said he was pissed.

Why was Fewell pissed?

He reportedly saw some Giants players quit on plays against the Saints and called it “disheartening.”

“We don’t coach pulling up short. We won’t accept pulling up short,” said Fewell.

We understand why Fewell would be upset, but is it really the wisest thing to give the Packers any extra motivation before a game? Green Bay is already the best team in the league. The last thing you need is to give them more reasons to be on alert, or reasons to play harder. We’ll have to see if Fewell’s players can back up his words on Sunday.
