Pete Carroll calls Jimmy Graham trade talks report ‘total bulls—‘
Pete Carroll says the report about the Seattle Seahawks having trade talks involving Jimmy Graham “total bulls—.”
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport said on Sunday that the Seahawks have had talks about trading is Graham, their tight end.
#Seahawks continue the push to trade for a veteran LT. A player they’d consider moving for cap reasons — TE Jimmy Graham. They’ve had talks.

Rapoport even floated a potential Graham for Duane Brown trade.
#Seahawks have had talks involving #Texans LT Duane Brown, who is in SEA today. Could Jimmy Graham fly home with the #Texans? Unlikely but…

Carroll says “not so fast, my friend.”
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, to me just now: 'We are NOT trading Jimmy Graham. That's total bulls—' @AroundTheNFL @nflnetwork

Graham hasn’t come close to duplicating the kind of numbers he put up in New Orleans since being acquired by Seattle, but he’s still an important part of the team. Along with Doug Baldwin, he gives Russell Wilson one of his most important offensive targets. Why would a playoff team trade a valuable weapon like that mid-season?
