Raiders fined $20K for violating NFL’s injury report policy
Jon Gruden has coached just six games since returning to the Oakland Raiders, and the team has already been fined for a violation of NFL rules.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Raiders were fined $20,000 on Thursday after the league determined that they violated injury report policy. Offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele did not travel with the team to Los Angeles for Oakland’s Week 5 game against the Chargers, but they still listed him as questionable.

In reality, that’s a minor violation. It seems pretty careless, but we know of at least one other team that may get whacked with the same type of penalty. For Gruden, it’s just another small blemish on a season that has already been a disaster.
