Ravens beat Browns on blocked field goal returned for touchdown (Video)
In a game that neither team seemingly wanted to win, the ending to Monday night’s Browns-Ravens game was fitting.
Baltimore won 33-27 when they blocked a 51-yard field goal attempt on the final play and returned it for a touchdown as time expired. The Ravens blocked Travis Coons’ field goal attempt and it was picked up by Will Hill, who returned it 64 yards for a score.

The final play ended feeble attempts by either squad to break the 27-all tie. After the Browns scored to tie the game, Baltimore went 3-and-out in 24 seconds, giving the ball back to Cleveland. Then Cleveland went 3-and-out in 27 seconds. The Ravens gave it right back to them in perfect field position on another interception by Matt Schaub, but the Browns badly mismanaged the clock at the end, were unable to get closer for a field goal following an Austin Davis scramble, and their field goal attempt was blocked.
In the end, nothing about the way this game ended should surprise anyone. Whether it’s “The Drive” or “The Fumble,” the Browns just seem to have a unique way of blowing great opportunities much like this.
