Report: Redskins break off contract talks with Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins and the Washington Redskins have reportedly decided to put their contract discussions on hold.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cousins and the team are no longer talking numbers — at least for now.

Free agency doesn’t officially begin until March 12, so there is still plenty of time to work out a deal. In all likelihood, the information Schefter received came from a source that is trying to create leverage for one side or the other.
Cousins hinted last month that he would like to remain in the nation’s capital, but he also left the door open for him to sign elsewhere. A previous report indicated that the Redskins are ready to commit to Cousins as their franchise quarterback.
If Cousins does end up leaving Washington, we all know what fans will miss the most about him.
