Refs fist bumped after Broncos TD because they made the right call (Video)
Two NFL officials created a bit of a stir on Sunday when they bumped fists after the Denver Broncos scored a touchdown against the Buffalo Bills.
The exchange occurred after one of Broncos running back CJ Anderson’s three rushing touchdowns. When line judge John Hussey signaled that Anderson had scored, umpire Carl Paganelli came over and gave him a fist bump. Bills defensive back Aaron Williams was not happy about it.
No excuse for my performance but can't win playing 16 vs 11 thought I seen it all Smh https://t.co/CrfVO2YxA6

NFL spokesman Michael Signora told the Associated Press that the officials were simply acknowledging one another after making the right call.
“It was an acknowledgment of good mechanics between the two officials involved in making the call,” Signora said.
Translation: Nothing to see here, move on.
It can be very difficult to determine if the ball broke the plane before a player’s knees hit the ground when there’s a pile of bodies like that. Paganelli obviously agreed with Hussey’s call, so he was simply acknowledging his co-worker.
Anyone who thinks the officials were not only rooting for the Broncos but were also dumb enough to display their excitement needs to get a hobby.
