Report: Andrew Luck could play in Week 6
Andrew Luck could be back playing for the Indianapolis Colts in a few weeks, according to a report.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport said on Sunday that he thinks Luck could play in Week 6 for the Colts. Indy hosts Cleveland in Week 3, then faces Seattle and San Francisco before traveling to Tennessee for Week 6.
Rapoport said the Colts did not place Luck on injured reserve designated to return list to open the season because they believed he would be available to play earlier than the six-week timeframe he would have had to miss. The team has kept Luck on the active roster, using up a spot on him, with the belief he’d be able to return before Week 8.
Rapoport also says to keep your eye on the situation because Luck could return to practice in the coming week.
Nothing that's happened with #Colts QB Andrew Luck has given anyone doubt that he plays this year. … And keep an eye on Week 6 vs. #Titans pic.twitter.com/Zh1SzlJ2WF

Luck has not played or practiced yet this season as he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery he underwent in January. The colts have been mum about his recovery timetable, only saying that they were prepared to be patient in allowing him to heal.
