Roquan Smith’s holdout appears to be coming to an end.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday that the Bears and Smith are finalizing an agreement that should be completed by the end of the day.

The two sides reaching an agreement would get Smith into camp and end his holdout. He’s the only 2018 first-round pick who remains unsigned.
Smith, the No. 8 overall pick out of Georgia, had a dispute with the Bears over some of the language in his contract. His representatives reportedly were working to make sure the linebacker would not lose guaranteed money in the case of a suspension for on-field plays.
