Report: Rob Gronkowski has good chance to play vs. Texans
The New England Patriots may be without Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo for Thursday night’s game against the Houston Texans, but at least tight end Rob Gronkowski has a chance to make his 2016 season debut.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Gronkowski is a game-time decision and has a good shot at suiting up.
#Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (hamstring), who sat out the first 2 games, is a game-time decision. There's a real chance he makes his debut

Earlier in the week, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald speculated that this will be the week Gronkowski plays, as he felt Gronk was approaching practice and his media sessions with a different attitude.
Gronkowski tweaked his hamstring in practice about a month ago and recently admitted he was less than 100 percent health. With the Patriots off to a 2-0 start, they aren’t going to risk putting Gronk on the field if he isn’t at full strength. That said, the team is in rough enough shape for its game against Houston with a star wide receiver expected to serve as the primary backup quarterback. Thursday would be a good time for Gronkowski to make his way onto the field.
