Report: Richard Sherman not attending voluntary workouts
The Seattle Seahawks have made it clear that they are open to trading Richard Sherman, and the All-Pro cornerback apparently wants to stay away from the team while they shop him around.
Albert Breer of The MMQB reported on Tuesday that Sherman was not present for the start of Seattle’s voluntary workouts, and he has no plans to show up until next month.

Missing voluntary workouts is far different from a training camp holdout, but it’s likely not a coincidence that Sherman is working out on his own. One report claimed he asked the Seahawks to trade him, so it would be a bit awkward if he showed up to the team facility to work out with the teammates he is looking to leave.
If Seattle ends up keeping Sherman, we doubt he’ll make a fuss. And if the info we’ve heard about their asking price is true, Sherman may be stuck in Seattle for at least another season.
