Richard Sherman unloads on NFL Draft analysts for ‘idiotic’ predictions
Richard Sherman went from being a fifth-round draft pick to becoming one of the best cornerbacks in football, so you can understand why he might have some issues with the NFL Draft process. More specifically, Sherman can’t stand the analysts who try to predict which college players will pan out in the NFL.
On Tuesday, Sherman ripped NFL Draft analysts for their “idiotic” predictions and said someone should keep track of how many hits and misses they have.
All these draft analyst get so much wrong. I wish someone kept track of how idiotic some of their predictions are. They literally spew of ton of nonsense and get paid for it. Wish they got graded and paid for how often they are right/wrong

Trying to forecast how a player’s game will translate from college to the pros is probably the most difficult thing an NFL team has to do, so it’s no surprise analysts have an even tougher time with it. It’s like being a meteorologist with even less data, and we know how often those folks are wrong.
In reality, Sherman should feel more slighted by the teams that continuously passed over him in 2011. Though, he has already given them a piece of his mind. At the end of the day, analysts just get paid to talk, generate clicks and boost ratings. NFL executives make their own choices, and they’re the ones that miss on guys like Sherman year in and year out.
