Richie Incognito a free agent after Bills release him from reserve/retired list

Richie Incognito

Richie Incognito said last month that football has taken a toll on his mind and body and he has decided to retire, but it will be interesting to see if he now changes his mind.

On Monday, the Buffalo Bills announced that they have released Incognito from the reserve/retired list. That means the veteran offensive lineman is free to sign with another team if he chooses to keep playing.

Incognito previously made a bizarre decision to fire his agent over Twitter, and he seemed like he was unhappy after he agreed to take a pay cut with the Bills. There was speculation that he may have been trying to force the Bills into releasing him because he didn’t want to play in Buffalo and/or under his new deal, but the 34-year-old said he is definitely retiring.

No one would be surprised if Incognito suddenly changes his mind, as he was still one of the best offensive linemen in football last season.
