Richie Incognito works out for Broncos but won’t sign with them
Richie Incognito visited with the Denver Broncos and worked out for the team this week, but the franchise does not have immediate plans to sign him, according to reports.
Jay Glazer says the Broncos’ coaches are familiar with Incognito from when they coached him at the Pro Bowl, but they still wanted to bring him in for an evaluation.
Incognito has been working out in Arizona in hopes of making it back into the NFL. The Buccaneers and Chiefs are other teams that have considered him.
Incognito has long had a reputation for being a dirty player. He was suspended by the Dolphins last season amid accusations that his bullying of Jonathan Martin caused the former Stanford lineman to leave the team.
Though the Broncos declined to sign Incognito, Glazer says the team could reconsider the possibility in a few weeks.
