Rob Gronkowski shouts out Aly Raisman on Twitter
After the London Olympics four years ago, the Boston media was trying to push Massachusetts native Aly Raisman to date another famous athlete in the city. This time around they won’t even have to play matchmaker.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took care of that by shouting out Raisman via Twitter on Friday:
Congrats @Aly_Raisman on all your accomplishments in Rio. All your hard work & dedication to your craft is paying off! Go get them ladies!

As you could imagine, fans are already envisioning how athletic the child between the gold medal-winning gymnast and All-Pro tight end would be. They need to slow down, though, and be reminded that at last check, Gronk had a girlfriend.
Gronk was probably just propping up a fellow New England athlete, not trying to slide into the DMs. He should probably expect a reply too as Raisman has been great about responding to tweets from fellow athletes and celebrities. She even responded to Aaron Rodgers:
