Report: Rob Gronkowski has only bruising, no ligament damage
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski underwent an MRI on his right knee Monday, and the testing reportedly revealed no structural damage.
According to ESPN’s Dianna Marie Russini, the team considers Gronkowski to be “week to week” after the MRI showed only bruising.
Rob Gronkowski is week to week and the injury is being described as more of a bruise of the knee than a tear per sources #Patriots

Adam Schefter reports that Gronk is dealing with a “minor strain” and could miss a week or two.
Update on Rob Gronkowski: told it's a "minor knee strain" and the timeframe is "a week or two most likely," per source. Best case for NE.

As we have already mentioned, the Patriots dodged a massive bullet. If you watched the the hit Gronkowski took against the Denver Broncos (video here), you know how bad the results could have been.
