Report: Rob Gronkowski back injury does not appear serious
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski did not return to Sunday’s game, but the back injury he suffered does not appear serious.
Gronkowski departed early in the first half with what the Patriots simply called a back problem, and he did not return to the game. Initial indications, however, are that the injury is not major.
Per source, initial indication on the back injury of TE Rob Gronkowski is that it is not serious. He's currently not expected to miss time.

It goes without saying that this news will come as a relief to the Patriots, especially since Gronkowski has already been dealing with other issues. A new injury was not what he needed, but this seems like the best case scenario.
