Report: Rob Gronkowski not expected to play vs. Jets
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is expected to miss his second straight game when his team takes on the New York Jets on Sunday.
Dianna Russini of ESPN reports that the Patriots have been preparing for the game with the expectation that Gronkowski will not be available.

That is hardly a surprise, as Gronkowski has been dealing with a lung injury he suffered on this massive hit from Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas in Week 10.
While the injury has been termed not serious, the Patriots are in the middle of an extremely soft portion of their schedule. They faced the San Francisco 49ers last weekend and will travel to New York to take on the Jets Sunday. In Week 13, the Pats host a Los Angeles Rams team that has turned to rookie Jared Goff as its starting quarterback. Don’t be shocked if Gronkowski misses that game, too.
