Rob Gronkowski not upset with Barry Church over hit

Rob Gronkowski does not hold any hard feelings towards Barry Church over the hit that concussed him in the AFC championship game.

Gronk on Thursday was cleared by doctors from concussion protocol and will be able to play in the Super Bowl. He talked Thursday with reporters about Church’s hit that knocked him out of the game and said it’s just part of the game.

“It’s football. It is what it is,” Gronkowski said. “It’s a split second to make a decision. It’s running full speed one way. I’m going the other way. It’s just part of the game. It happens. Just got to move on.”

There were a lot of people who felt similarly after seeing the hit. Church did not seem to have any malicious intent and the hit was just part of the game. That still didn’t stop Church from being fined by the NFL.
