Rob Gronkowski returns to practice
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to the practice field on Thursday.
Gronkowski, who missed last week’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, was seen jogging with a brace on his right leg:

Gronkowski suffered a brutal-looking right knee injury (video here) during New England’s Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos. He was lucky to avoid a season-ending injury, and there have been varying reports about how long the Pro Bowler is expected to be out.
While it’s certainly a good sign that Gronk has returned to practice, he is by no means a lock to play against the Houston Texans Sunday night. He previously said that he will not return until he is “100 percent” healthy, though our theory about him being held out until the postseason might not apply if the Patriots keep struggling.
