Robert Griffin III to work with QB coach Tom House
Robert Griffin III is looking to improve his mechanics and will be working with quarterbacks coach Tom House, according to a report.
House has worked with multiple NFL quarterbacks and helped them to great results. The former MLB pitcher helped train Andy Dalton, who made huge strides and had a big season last year until his injury. Other QBs he’s recently trained include Carson Palmer, A.J. McCarron and Terrelle Pryor, the latter of whom has made a position switch.
In the past, House, who uses 3D mechanics as one of his training methods, has also notably helped trained Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Tim Tebow and Alex Smith.
Griffin heading to work with House makes plenty of sense. House is close with new Browns head coach Hue Jackson, who likely played a big role in this new arrangement.
Griffin signed a two-year deal with the Browns last week. NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington, which reported the news about RG3 working with House, also says Jackson fell in love with Griffin during a workout.
RG3 should be fresh as he did not see a snap last year with the Redskins.
