Robert Griffin posting inspirational messages on Twitter as he looks for work
Robert Griffin III has not generated a ton of interest on the free agent market this offseason, but the quarterback’s social media activity indicates he is staying patient and positive.
On Sunday, Griffin posted a cryptic tweet that ended with the words “overcome it all.”
They stabbed you in the back?
It's ok.
They lied to you?
It's ok.
They used you?
It's ok.
Keep working. Keep pushing. Overcome it all.— Robert Griffin III (@RGIII) July 30, 2017
Tweets like that have been common from the former Cleveland Browns quarterback lately. Here are a few more:
You were meant to push the standards not accept them

Don't compromise just because people don't see your vision

Don't stagger at the promise of God, but be strong in faith and know that he is working in your favor

Griffin recently welcomed a daughter into the world with his fiancee Grete Sadeiko. Sadeiko has offered encouragement for RG3 on Twitter as well.

Griffin worked out with the San Diego Chargers last week, and he got some positive feedback. While he’s just 27, he has not been able to get his career back on track since a knee injury in 2012. Like another free agent quarterback who has generated a lot more headlines, RG3 could need an injury from some team in training camp to get another shot.
