Russell Wilson taking grandmother, not Ciara, to White House dinner
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson may be dating singer Ciara, but she is not going to be his date to the White House Correspondents Dinner this weekend.
On Thursday, Wilson shared a video on Facebook of himself dancing with his grandmother and said he can’t wait for her to accompany him to the big event.
“Can’t wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend!” Wilson wrote. “#shesgotmoves #loveugrandma.”

One of the reasons rumors have been swirling that Wilson is dating Ciara had to do with a report that she was listed as his date on a partial guest list from the White House Correspondents Dinner. Unless Wilson plans to have a woman on each arm, it sounds like grandma — not Ciara — will have that honor.
Of course, there’s still a chance Ciara and Wilson are a thing. They reportedly went to a Texas Rangers game together last weekend. We can’t rule it out just yet.
