Former Steelers S explains what makes Tom Brady so great
Tom Brady is arguably the best quarterback ever, and he has also enjoyed particular success against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A former Pittsburgh defender explained why.
Ryan Clark, who was a safety for the Steelers from 2006-2013, was asked on Twitter Sunday what’s so hard about being a defender against Brady. He gave an interesting answer.
His understanding of how you are going to attack him. Always found the 5th blitzer and the hole in the defense. Always seemed a step ahead. He is amazing before and after snap https://t.co/k6tdXDtsd5

If you’re a Steelers player, it makes sense to feel that way about Brady. The longtime New England Patriots quarterback has gone 7-2 against Pittsburgh, throwing 24 touchdowns to just three interceptions against them. He often seems a step ahead of the defense, regardless of whom he is playing. That’s not only a big reason for his success, but also a big part of why he’s expected to continue playing so much longer.
