Sam Bradford feels ‘much better,’ trending toward playing vs. Bears
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford has missed the last three games as he recovers from a knee injury, but it sounds like he has a chance to suit up on Monday night against the Chicago Bears.
On Friday, Bradford practiced for the second consecutive day and told reporters he is feeling “much better.” He stopped short of predicting that he will be ready to face Chicago.
Sam Bradford talking with reporters now: "I feel much better. The two weeks between practices, it's night and day."

Bradford: We'll have to see how I go through today, tomorrow before knowing if can play Monday in Chicago

Bradford, who tore the ACL in his left knee in 2013 and again in 2014, is not dealing with any ligament damage this time around. He reportedly has a bone bruise in the same knee, which can be extremely painful. The 29-year-old acknowledged that he may not feel 100 percent healthy for the entire season.
Bradford: If everything goes according to plan, issue should go away. But will likely have to play through discomfort this season.

This isn’t the first week that Bradford has sounded close to playing only to sit out, so he will probably end up being a game-time decision. The Bears have played well at home, and the Vikings could use a win after coming up short against the Detroit Lions last week and having to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 6. This is a tough divisional stretch for Minnesota, so having its starting quarterback would be huge.
