Sammy Watkins declares himself fully healthy, says time off was a ‘blessing’
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins may not end up playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but it sounds like he is certain to return to game action in the near future.
After returning to his first limited practice in more than two months Wednesday, Watkins declared himself fully healthy and said he finally has confidence in his surgically-repaired foot.
Sammy Watkins says the time off was a "blessing" and believes he's now fully healthy. Wouldn't commit to playing Sunday, however. #Bills

With Robert Woods unlikely to play after suffering a knee injury last weekend, the Bills could certainly use Watkins back as soon as possible. They are currently 5-5 and looking to stay alive in the playoff race.
Watkins will need to be careful in practice, as a teammate’s clumsiness supposedly set him back at one point earlier in the season. That said, his positive attitude after Wednesday’s session is a good sign for the Bills.
