Report: Seahawks have initiated some Richard Sherman trade talks
It’s reportedly not just other teams that have engaged the Seattle Seahawks on Richard Sherman trade talks.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Seahawks have initiated some of the Sherman talks, and some have been more serious discussions.
Fowler also hears that, echoing previous reports, at least a high draft pick would be required to get the Seahawks to part with their star cornerback.
It remains somewhat unclear how serious the Seahawks are about a Sherman deal, but if they’re starting some of the negotiations themselves, they’ve clearly given it serious thought. Sherman himself doesn’t think he’s on the move, but perhaps the chances are higher than they may have otherwise appeared to be.
