Steelers GM evaluates cornerbacks based on whether they could cover Antonio Brown
The Pittsburgh Steelers have remarkably high standards when it comes to who gets to play for them, and now we have an example of just how high they are.
Here’s Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert on one of the ways he evaluates cornerbacks:
Interesting. #Steelers GM Kevin Colbert says for every cornerback under evaluation, he asks this question: "Can he cover Antonio Brown?"

Very few cornerbacks can do that well – Brown is really, really good, in case you missed it, so Pittsburgh may have some difficulty finding the secondary talent they want unless they ease up a bit on this. It clearly didn’t work for them last year, as evidenced by how poor their secondary turned out to be.
Perhaps the real question is whether or not they can celebrate like Antonio Brown.
