Report: Teddy Bridgewater will be ready to go for Week 7

Teddy Bridgewater

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater may be just weeks away from a remarkable return to action.

Citing a source close to the team, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk reported Monday that Bridgewater is expected to be ready to go once he is eligible to be activated and return to practice in three weeks ahead of Week 7. The source noted, however, that given the nature of his injury and comeback, the Vikings are likely to proceed with caution.

In other words, there is no guarantee that Bridgewater will start as soon as he is ready to return, but the signs are good that he’ll at least be able to practice quite soon.

Bridgewater is over a year removed from a devastating knee injury, but the Vikings have consistently believed that their quarterback could play this season. It sounds like they may be proven right.
