Terrance Knighton reportedly will sign with Patriots
The New England Patriots are closing in on another top free agent defensive lineman.
Terrance Knighton visited with the Pats earlier this week and reportedly has informed them he will be joining the team.
I'm told Terrance Knighton informed the Patriots he will joining the team, but nothing signed.

This makes sense as Knighton tweeted Thursday that he had made a decision:
Decision made! Turning focus to my brother having a baby girl any minute now….. Thank you to everyone for making this fun

Knighton turns 30 in July and will be changing teams for the second time in two years. The man known as “Pot Roast” recorded 29 tackles and 1.5 sacks in a down season with the Washington Redskins last year, but the Pats are hoping he will be able to play up to his previous levels achieved with the Jaguars and Broncos.
After trading away Chandler Jones to the Cardinals, the Patriots added Chris Long and now may be adding Knighton. They certainly appear to have all their ducks in a row.
