Terrell Suggs pleaded with ref to not fall for Tom Brady flop (Video)

One of the reasons Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs hates Tom Brady so much is that Brady has a tendency to beg officials to throw a flag. A lot of quarterbacks do that, but it tends to work when No. 12 does it.

During the New England Patriots’ playoff win over the Ravens last Sunday, Suggs pleaded with a referee at one point to not fall for Brady’s “flop” routine.

“Please don’t fall for the flop,” Suggs said. “Please don’t fall for the flop. My guy’s been coached.”

The exchange took place after Brady was sacked on consecutive pass attempts in the second quarter. Just before Suggs spoke to the ref, Brady was seen yelling in the face of an official. He later revealed that he was irate after being poked in the eye by Ravens defensive end Timmy Jernigan. You can see a photo of Brady’s bloodshot eye here.

Suggs was not shy about how much he hates Brady leading up to the divisional round matchup, despite Brady killing him with kindness. I’m sure the heartbreaking loss did nothing to change Suggs’ mind.
