Terrelle Pryor, Joe Thomas have harsh comments about Browns’ offensive line play

Cody Kessler concussion

Cleveland Browns players are pretty sick of seeing their quarterbacks repeatedly hit and injured.

Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, a former college quarterback, had a fair bit to say about the failures of the offensive line to protect quarterback Cody Kessler, who was knocked out of the game with a concussion.

Joe Thomas, the anchor of the team’s offensive line, offered what looked to be some fairly pointed comments directed at team management.

This is ultimately a talent issue, and the frustration appears to be boiling over. Kessler suffered his second concussion in a month, and it may cost him the rest of the season. Josh McCown has been sidelined for a spell, and Robert Griffin III hasn’t been seen since the opening weekend of the season. Browns quarterbacks have, quite simply, been pounded all year. If guys like Pryor and Thomas are beyond fed up with it, imagine how the quarterbacks themselves must feel.
