Tom Brady didn’t realize NFL logo was missing from helmet?
Tom Brady played two preseason games without the NFL logo on the back of his helmet, but the New England Patriots quarterback claims he had no idea it was missing.
Tom E. Curran of CSNNE.com told PFT Live on Monday that Brady said he didn’t know the sticker had been removed from his helmet.
If you have a difficult time believing that, we don’t blame you. All of Brady’s teammates had the NFL logo on their helmets in the team’s final preseason game against the New York Giants, so it’s not as if some equipment manager just forgot to put the decal on. Unless, of course, said equipment manager happened to skip Brady and no one else.
Brady is obviously furious with Roger Goodell and the NFL. Would he be above removing the NFL logo from his helmet to make a point? Remember, this is the same guy who once covered up a logo on his sweatshirt (photo here) because it didn’t align with his endorsement deals. We’d be surprised if the missing decal was a mere coincidence.
