Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jersey reportedly recovered on ‘foreign soil’

The case of Tom Brady’s stolen Super Bowl jersey has reportedly been solved.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, NFL Security was able to track down the valuable piece of memorabilia with the help of the FBI. Authorities say the jersey was on foreign soil when tracked down and it is in the process of being returned to Brady and the Patriots.

It has been more than six weeks since Brady helped orchestrate one of the greatest comebacks in sports history, and authorities have been looking for his stolen jersey ever since. Brady’s camp estimated that the threads are worth $500,000, though that number may be a tad high.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft said about a month ago that progress was being made in the search for the jersey. More recently, Brady himself joked that he was trying to solve the case by sharing this hilarious suspect board.

With all the reporters and cameras that were around after New England’s dramatic victory, it would have been shocking if no one saw or heard anything with regard to the jersey. We’re glad to hear it is being returned to the five-time Super Bowl champion.

UPDATE: According to another report, Brady’s last two Super Bowl jerseys were stolen by the same individual and both have been found.
