Tom Brady on playing in cold: ‘I’m a f—ing machine!’
After spending his college career in Michigan and his entire pro career in Massachusetts, Tom Brady has become a master at playing in cold weather.
While many other quarterbacks struggle in the cold, rain, snow and wind, Brady seems to maintain his high level of playing. That’s why Brady had a great response when asked about how he prepares for the weather.
CSN New England’s Tom E. Curran did a feature Wednesday where he asked several Patriots players how they prepare for cold weather games, like the type of weather the team is expected to have Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens.
The best answer came from Brady:
TB: (Speaking through a black, polyester headwarmer that covers everything but his nose and eyes) I know exactly what to wear. I know how many layers to wear every degree. I’m a (bleeping) machine, man, I’m a (bleeping) machine! C’mon baby!
And that’s what makes Brady awesome. The guy has this nice public image, but he really is a tough guy. He loves to spike footballs, headbutt his teammates, and get fired up. And he’s a bleeping machine, man! He has this all figured out to a science!
