Tom Brady confirms he will return in 2018, hopes to play until mid-40s
In case we needed further evidence, Tom Brady said himself that he’ll be playing in 2018.
Brady made the announcement while speaking with Jim Gray at the Milken Institute Global Conference on Monday, while adding that he might play several more years as well. He also gave some brief insight on his relationship with coach Bill Belichick.

Brady hinted again at some tension, indicating that he does have his moments of displeasure.

It’s not a ringing endorsement of Belichick and if you want to read into it, it may back up some of the reporting about a somewhat strained relationship. Still, this sounds like Brady plans to play even beyond this year, and things are good enough for now. That should put a lot of speculation to rest for at least a little while.
