Tom Brady pays tribute to Peyton Manning: ‘You changed the game forever’
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has long been Peyton Manning’s chief quarterbacking rival. Now, he’s paying tribute as Manning announces his retirement.
Brady posted a tribute to Manning and his “incredible career” on his Facebook page.
Congratulations Peyton, on an incredible career. You changed the game forever and made everyone around you better. It's been an honor.

Despite their longstanding professional rivalry, it’s never turned personal, and the two count each other as friends. Brady has publicly backed Manning over his HGH controversy as well. In the end, Brady won the lifetime series 11-6, but Manning took three of the five playoff games the pair contested, with all three victories coming in AFC Championship games.
