Tony Romo bought offensive linemen Louis Vuitton bags

Cowboys-Louis-Vuitton

The Dallas Cowboys have arguably the best offensive line in the NFL this season, and the big guys have been getting the recognition they deserve. A little over a week ago, the O-line received $1,300 iMac computers from Demarco Murray, who leads the NFL in rushing. On Friday, Tony Romo showed his appreciation with the gift of luggage.

Romo gave all of his blockers — including tight ends — Louis Vuitton travel bags. Louis Vuitton travel bags for men can cost as much as a few thousand dollars each. The Cowboys leave for London on Monday.

“Appreciate it,” Jason Witten said, per Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com. “Timing is now for the London trip, I’m assuming. So perfect timing.”

The bags came with a London travel book in case any of the lucky recipients wanted to do some sight-seeing before their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars next weekend.

“They’re taking care of us this year,” left guard Ronald Leary said when asked about the gifts from Murray and Romo. “We appreciate it.”

It should be noted that Romo was sacked a season-high five times on Monday night and took a knee to the back that could result in him missing Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Maybe this is his way of trying to butter up his pass protectors.
