Tony Romo Joins Gold’s Gym

Finally! With all this pissing and moaning everyone has been doing about the messed up NFL labor situation, we have found a positive. If you like people-watching — and particularly professional-athlete watching — the NFL lockout could provide you with a great opportunity.  The NFLPA has decertified and the owners have locked players out of team facilities.  While many professional athletes have gyms at home, many others do not.  When you’re used to having access to some of the best workout facilities in the world 365 days a year, why would you?

It sounds like Tony Romo is one of the athletes who chose not to put a gym in his house.  According to the Dallas Morning News, Romo recently joined a local Gold’s Gym so he can stay in shape.  See where I’m going with this?

If Romo is doing it, other players must be.  That means there’s a slight chance that if you live in the same general area as a professional football player, he could be going to the same gym.  So if you’re a complete creep, find out where some players live. Then if you’re even more of a creep, find out what gym they’re going to since they can’t get into team facilities.  And if you’re a full-blown stalker, grab a membership at that gym, find out what time the players normally go, and knock yourself out.

Just don’t tell them LBS sent you.
