Tyler Eifert, John Ross to miss Week 5 for Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals will be without receiving options Tyler Eifert and John Ross once again.
Eifert has not played since injuring his back in Week 2. The former first-round pick has four catches for 46 yards this season. His replacement, Tyler Kroft, caught two touchdown passes in Week 4.
Ross, this year’s first-round pick, missed the team’s opener but played in Week 2. He also had knee issues after that game and has not played since.
The Bengals’ passing game has improved since making a change at offensive coordinator even though they did not have Eifert or Ross available. Cincinnati hosts Buffalo on Sunday.
