Tyler Eifert returning to practice for first time since ankle surgery
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert continues to make encouraging progress in his recovery from ankle surgery.
According to a report by Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Inquirer, Eifert is returning to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday, his first since undergoing the procedure in May.
Tyler Eifert says he will practice today. Will be limited, but first practice with team since ankle surgery.

Eifert, 25, was said to be targeting Week 4 for his return, and it looks like he may be on track to meet that goal.
The Bengals have gone 1-1 to open the season with CJ Uzomah getting the majority of the tight end targets in the passing game. While the team has already managed to rack up a gaudy 732 passing yards over that span, Eifert’s return would really help restore some balance to a Cincy aerial attack that has had to rely heavily on five-time Pro Bowl wideout AJ Green in his absence.
