Tyrann Mathieu sends funny tweet as he hopes for good news on knee
Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu went down with a knee injury in the fourth quarter of his team’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night. The injury was of the non-contact variety after he recorded an interception, and it didn’t look good.
After the game, Palmer described the win as “bittersweet” and said the team is praying for Mathieu. As he awaits test results, Mathieu is also hoping for some help from the man upstairs.

Prayers out to Tyrann Mathieu…great sign that he walked off the field but not out of the clear! pic.twitter.com/YJ9CYs6zTi

The Cardinals can only hope Mathieu got away with a sprain, as he has been having a Pro Bowl-caliber season with 89 tackles and five interceptions.
From a guy who typically gets himself into trouble with tweets like this, that was pretty entertaining.
