Tyrod Taylor in concussion protocol, may miss season opener

Tyrod Taylor

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol and may miss the team’s season opener on Sunday.

Coach Sean McDermott admitted that Taylor’s status is “up in the air” for the Week 1 tilt against the New York Jets.

It has been over a week since Taylor was knocked out of the team’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, and it’s not a good sign for his status that he’s still in question. Rookie Nathan Peterman would get the nod if Taylor isn’t cleared in time for Sunday’s game.
