Brian Robison: Adrian Peterson will be out for revenge against Vikings
Adrian Peterson announced on Tuesday that he is signing with the New Orleans Saints, and the NFL could not have asked for him to end up in a better place as far as ratings are concerned. As luck would have it, the Minnesota Vikings are hosting the Saints on “Monday Night Football” in Week 1.
That’s right, Peterson’s first game as a visiting player in Minnesota will be his first regular season game with the Saints. Many of Peterson’s former teammates are already looking forward to it, and Vikings defensive end Brian Robinson expects the Pro Bowl running back to be out for “revenge.”

They say all good things must come to an end, and that’s exactly what happened with Peterson’s tenure in Minnesota. Some comments Peterson’s father made at the start of the offseason (read them here) made it clear Adrian was not thrilled with the treatment he was receiving from the team he spent 10 seasons with, so A.P. is going to want to prove he still has plenty left in the tank.
Not surprisingly, the NFL wins again.
