Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio will reportedly continue running the Chicago Bears’ defense in 2018.
According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears will retain Fangio under new head coach Matt Nagy, ensuring the veteran coordinator continues in his role.

Nagy is an interesting hire as head coach, but he is a young, first-time offensive-minded coach, so the Bears definitely would have wanted a veteran defensive coordinator to handle that unit. Keeping Fangio on board comes with the added bonus of continuity, so you can see why everyone involved was so eager and willing to make this happen.
