Report: Vikings fear Teddy Bridgewater may not be ready for start of 2017
There is apparently some serious concern about Teddy Bridgewater’s health in Minnesota.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, the Vikings gave up such a hefty haul for quarterback Sam Bradford in part because they are unconvinced Bridgewater will be completely ready to go for the start of the 2017 season.
#Vikings trade for Sam Bradford is also based on belief that Teddy Bridgewater may not be back by start of 2017. Puts his option in question

We’ve heard quite a bit about the severity of the Bridgewater injury. He’s already on injured reserve and we know he won’t be back in 2016. It would have to be an exceptionally bad injury if any of his 2017 is in doubt, but that appears to be exactly what we have. If those concerns are real and significant, one can understand a bit more clearly why the Vikings were to desperate to get Bradford in the fold.
