Brown Bag it, Baby
My daughter and I first saw JD in the Shell Houston Open, I think 3 yers ago (Ithink he finished 6th). Someone tip me he is half filipino and half aussie. So, we waited for him at the signing booth and interview area behind HOle 18. I can see the filipino side of his features, and the aussie side of course. He started signing autographs, and as he was coming close to me and daughter (11), I greeted him with a filipino hello (kumusta, good round JD). He looked at me, then, he gave my daughter his playing ball and gloves, signed. I look forward to more success for Mr. Day. He is such as nice guy for a young man. Funny part is this. Some kid asked him, who are you, his wit was quick and spot-on, he said “Tiger Woods” and everyone laughed. He can be funny too. Stay true JD and stay loyal to your dear wife, she seems a like a good person. My daughter is a huge golf fan. She stopped playing competitive golf 2 years ago after I was diagnosed with cancer. I feel bad because we had a great bond together everytime we practice and play rounds. But, we will be happy to follow your star JD.
