Kevin Kisner has dad caddie for him for Father’s Day
Kevin Kisner knew he wasn’t going to make the cut at the US Open this weekend at Pinehurst, so he decided to honor his dad a few days before Father’s Day.
The South Carolina native called his father, Steven, out of the gallery a few holes before he completed his second round Friday and asked his old man to carry his bags for the last few holes.
Kisner shot a 5-over 75 on Thursday and a 7-over 77 in the second round to put him 12 over for the tournament. Though he didn’t come close to making the cut, at least he got to share something special with his dad.
According to Golfweek’s Alex Miceli, Kisner also gave his dad this customized bag as part of his Father’s Day gift:
